Bura

from €79.00

The bura (Croatian, bora in English) is a fierce and powerful northerly to the north-easterly cold katabatic wind of the Adriatic Sea. It blows in gusts, capable of reaching speeds of around 300 km/h (186 mph), earning the respect of even the most experienced sailors. Bura is an integral part of the Croatian coastal area.

I made this photograph of the bura-driven wave just closing into final crush with the rocky seashore of the Šolta island (Croatia) in the last sunlight of the day.

Print is available in two sizes, A2 paper and A3 paper sizes:

A2 print comes with a 36 mm (1.42 inch) border on all sides and the image printed area is 522 × 348 mm (20.55 x 13.7 inch).

A3 print comes with a 25.4 mm (1 inch) border on all sides and the image printed area is 369 × 246 mm (14.53 x 9.69 inch).

If available wall space allows it, I recommend a larger A2 size print, for it feels a lot more substantial.

In case of sparse available space, or multiple photographs/images displayed together tightly in one place, A3 size print might work better.
