Ivan Galić is an enthusiast photographer from Split, Croatia, who got into photography in 2009 following earlier interests such as illustration and short animated movies.

Photography soon became his primary free-time interest, which was reflected at various photography exhibitions and contests: winner of the Gold medal award for the best photograph at the Vinkovci 2011 Photography Exhibition, participant in Croatian national print selections at the 16th FIAP Nature Print Biennial (Norway), 24th FIAP Colour Print Biennial (Türkiye) and 33rd FIAP Black and White Biennial (South Korea), winner of the Popular Photography magazine Photo Challenge for August 2015 issue, winner of the Best photo of the Year 2015 award in Otvoreno more (Open Sea) magazine.

Also, his photographs were exhibited at various exhibitions (2010-2024) with several honourable mentions and published in a number of magazines.

Regarding non-photography recognition, his animated short silent film Urlator (The Howler) won the best short amateur film award by audience votes at the Pula 2012 Film Festival.
